Company Profile

Drum Equip was purchased in 1986 by Don Fooks Bulk Dist. Ltd. From its meager beginnings as a small rental house in 1986, it has grown 10 fold since that time. The key ingredients to this growth were newer, bigger and better equipment in the rental fleet and the addition of top of the line equipment dealerships to the sales department. In May of 1992, the company amended its articles of incorporation and went from being a "Division Of" to being the company "Drumheller Equipment Sales & Rentals Ltd."

In the fall of 1987, we became a Melroe Bobcat dealer. The addition of the Worlds #1 Skid Steer Manufacturer to our rental fleet and sales department immediately gave us the leg up we needed to move into the market we neede to be in to expand and grow. Bobcat's product line of Skid Steers, Trencher, Loaders and the largest line of attachments in the industry soon proved to be what our market required both in sales and rentals.

1987 also saw the addition of STIHL to our business. Again the World's #1 manufacturer of Chain Saws and power products proved to be a winner for both the rental fleet and sales department.
